Troy Smith

CANFIELD, Ohio – Former Ohio State quarterback Heisman trophy winner Troy Smith signed an appearance deal Saturday with Ron Haus Auto Group and drove away with a new black Cadillac Escalade. Smith will return to the Canfield dealership for autograph sessions and other marketing efforts. The star football player is represented by DeBartolo Sports Entertainment LLC agent Brian Kopp, a trial attorney and partner in the firm of Betras, Maruca, Kopp, Harshman & Bernard. Kopp said he worked out the agreement with Ron Haus Auto Group in hopes of making the Youngstown area “Troy’s home away from home.” When asked why he chose to partner with the Canfield dealership, Smith said, “It’s Ohio. …These are great cars, it’s a great dealership and Youngstown could eventually be a new home. …It’s all about Ohio.” Smith signed a representation contract Jan. 12 with Edward J. DeBartolo Jr., the chairman of DeBartolo Sports Entertainment LLC. “Mr. DeBartolo wants to surround Troy with family-type people,” Kopp noted. “Ron Haus, the owner of this dealership is that type of person.” he said.

Sponge Bob Sited in Canfield

Ron Haus Auto Group Donates Police Cruiser for K-9 Patrol

The department has recently acquired a K-9 patrol dog to be utilized for daily patrol, tracking, drug location, etc. The dog and handler are fully trained and certified to State of Ohio specifications. The costs for the dog, the training of the officer/handler and the dog, and the K-9 equipped cruiser were all acquired through donations from the community with no expenditures of tax dollars, and the K-9 vehicle was donated in full by The Ron Haus Auto Group. We truly appreciate the support of the community in this endeavor.

Ron Haus Auto Group Donates Van to support Veteran's hospital transportation.

American soldiers have answered the call of duty so that we may live in freedom. As a community we mustanswer our call to honor their courage, dedication, and sacrifice by providing the resources necessary to take care of our veterans when they return home. The Ron Haus Auto Group answered that call in a big way. After receiving a request by St. Michael's Military Support Ministry in Canfield, this local business stepped up and offeredsomething that you rarely see in life: a "free ride." Area Veterans will be riding in style in a new Ford Windstar seven passenger van. This van will aid the Veterans Outreach organization in transporting Vets to and from doctors, appointment, hospitals, and any other medical treatment they may seek. These veterans paid for this "free ride" with their service to this country and the freedom each American enjoys each day. The Ron Haus Auto Group has shown a commendable dedication to this area’s veterans.

Ron Haus Auto Group organizes fund raiser for Mahoning County Sheriff's Department

The Ron Haus Auto Group arranged a raffle to contiune to serving our community by assisting the Mahoning County Sheriff's department in their K-9 program. Thanks to this fundraiser costs were offset to keep the department's K-9 unit on board, fed and healthy. Just another step in the Ron Hais Auto Group's dediction to keeping our community safe.

This year the Ron Haus Group participated in the Canfield, Austintown and Struthers Independence Day parades by donating numerous vehilces to each community. These parades included parade Grand Marshalls; The Edsels (world famous for their chart topping song "Rama Lama Ding Dong") and Congressman Tim Ryan. Leading the charge were Chris Haus, wife Jeannette, and local members of the community in some of the Ron Haus Auto Group's convertible Mustangs!
